JAMFEST 2011

JESUS AGAPE MINISTRY
Dr. Rhonda L. Gibbs traveled to Honduras in January 2004. Her experience in another country inspired her to do something that was going to make a difference. Two weeks after her trip, God enabled her to encourage 35 states to begin praying for JAMFEST. Now she has at least one representative from all 50 states to corporately pray for this convention. She realizes that prayer must be the foundation of every ministry.

WHAT IS JAMFEST?
When looking at the early church, there seems to be great deal of differences from today’s churches. This truth is being heard as teenagers and adults alike are asking, “Why do we not see what has taken place in the book of Acts in our churches?” God used this question, along with Dr. Rhonda's observations in Honduras to see the vision of JAMFEST 2011.

This convention will be MULTI-ETHNIC, INTERDENOMINATIONAL, and INTERGENERATIONAL to bring more unity to the CHURCH at large. Is it possible to see ACTS 2 come alive in our lives today? Because God is faithful and we believe His Word is true, the answer is an overwhelming, “YES!”

After the fireworks go off on this 4th of July weekend, we believe that God and His power will allow all the people who join us at this convention to experience the fire of the Holy Spirit. We, the JAMFEST leaders and prayer team, believe that JAMFEST will be a convention that emphasizes the WORD of GOD and not just entertainment. It is a time that we meet the specific needs of all members of the body of Christ. It is time to we realize that our brothers and sisters in Christ are not just within our own denominations. It is a time to start being the example of unity by actions not just by words. It is a time to respect our seniors as well as our youth in order to bring unity and healing to the church. It is a time God can use to begin, as a part of His plan for His Church, to continue to become what He is calling it to be.
